Miracle Gro Your Marketing Plans

If you are like me, when I plant a seed I do everything in my power to ensure that little guy is going to grow. Investing 6 to 8 weeks of watering and nurturing with no result is not my idea of fun. Consequently, on the day of planting, I start with a fertilizer I have successfully used in the past, Miracle-Gro® so I don’t have to play the “should have, could have, would have” game with myself if the seed does not produce.

So if there was a fertilizer for your marketing plan wouldn’t you use it?? It’s the same premise, your media, promotions, ads; these are all the seeds for your garden. Why not spend a little money on something that would ensure those seeds produce better results, like a vanity phone number.

Many businesses view their phone number/service as nothing more than a mere operating expense/utility. Nevertheless, your phone number has the potential to be much, much more. An easy to remember vanity phone number can play a critical role in fertilizing that marketing garden to produce the best results possible and ultimately maximize every dollar spent in promoting your business.

Everyone knows what Miracle-Gro® does for your garden, so how can a vanity phone number super charge your marketing efforts? Consider the following:

1.) Vanity phone numbers make your business easy to remember and contact. In today’s environment of immediate gratification, mobile phones as constant companions and social networking, nothing can fuel your marketing efforts better than to be easy to remember and contact. A vanity phone number can maximize your word of mouth referrals since it is memorable and thus better lends itself to share with friends or family on the spur of the moment.

2.) Increased response rates. Vanity phone numbers increase advertising response rates by 12 to 42%. Do you know of any other vehicle that can increase the effectiveness of your ad dollars by double digit?

3.) Infers a Strong Market Presence. An intuitive vanity phone number typically makes your company look larger and more established even if you are brand new. This perception of market dominance may serve to be the only difference between you and your competitors and could have a significant impact on prospect response.

4.) Builds Credibility. Consumers trust companies that are accessible. A vanity number ensures this accessibility in the consumer’s mind and thus increases the likelihood of them using your business.

Of course a seed still has to be good one and properly planted in order to grow. Nevertheless, hedging your bets with a good vanity phone number can significantly increase the likelihood your marketing strategy will bear fruit.

So get growing out there and don’t forget the fertilizer!
